in college i cooked at a popular US chain restaurant. one sunday I brought in eggs and bacon bc i'd been out literally all night and needed to eat through my hangover. it wasn't allowed to cook outside food, but my manager let it slide. i'd brought more than I could eat myself, so I shared & cooked for most of the servers. I did it again the next week, but for all the workers, and after that it was so popular that the GM decided it was good for morale & it became a tradition #smallstories
