@salmon_cannon that's great! i just checked on claiming dual citizenship in britain and I missed being able to claim it by **13 days**. If I'd been born 2 weeks earlier I'd probably be able to claim dual citizenship 
@balrogboogie that's a bummer! I never thought I would be I just was like hmm I wonder and depending on a couple of technicalities, I should be eligible because my great-grandparents emigrated to the US. I just need to check dates and if they had retained their citizenship when my grandfather was born.
@salmon_cannon good luck! I didn't think I would be either but then I read that there was a specific case when your maternal grandfather was born in the UK, which mine was. If only I'd been born a few days earlier lol.
I might put an application in anyway, just to see
